BNSF Permit support (KPFF) <br /> KPFF shall determine the permits and agreements required and document the processes and <br /> timelines required for the anticipated Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) entitlements. This <br /> work shall include the following: <br /> 10.1 — Meetings with BNSF <br /> Assume three (3) two-hour meetings to be held at local BNSF Seattle office, and one at the <br /> project site. <br /> 10.2 — Identify and Coordinate Right of Entry Approval <br /> KPFF shall coordinate temporary access with BNSF for soil investigations (if necessary), survey <br /> and miscellaneous site reconnaissance work. KPFF will be reimbursed by the City for any fees <br /> associated with the right-of-entry permitting process. <br /> 10.3 — Construction & Maintenance Agreement <br /> Work with BNSF to identify items required for the Construction and Maintenance Agreement. A <br /> formal memorandum identifying the required items will be prepared for the City. Preparation of <br /> the actual agreement is not part of this scope of work. <br /> 10.4— Coordinate with City, WUTC and BNSF <br /> Work with agencies on obtaining approvals for track clearances. <br /> 10.5 — BNSF Review & Approval of Conceptual, 30 Percent and 100 Percent Designs <br /> Coordinate the review of the Conceptual, 30% and 100% design submittals with BNSF. <br /> Incorporate BNSF comments into the final design. <br /> Deliverables <br /> • Conceptual, 30% and 100% BNSF Submittals per the Project Submittal List. <br /> • Conceptual Renderings for 1 Scheme <br /> • Workshop No. 6 — Optional Agency Coordination/Public Outreach <br /> KPFF Consulting Engineer November 10, 2014 <br /> Grand Avenue Park Utility Bridge, Phase 1A Page 30 of 55 <br />
