City of Everett Edgewater Creek Bridge Replacement <br /> LPILE input parameter tables for drilled shaft foundations and equivalent fluid passive <br /> pressures for spread footings. <br /> 3.5.8 Generate Abutment Lateral Earth Pressures: CONSULTANT will provide lateral earth <br /> pressure recommendations for proposed abutment structures and wing walls. Earth <br /> pressure diagrams for both static and seismic loading conditions will be generated using <br /> the procedures outlined in the WSDOT GDM. <br /> 3.5.9 Retaining Wall Design: CONSULTANT will provide design recommendations for <br /> retaining wall structures proposed near the abutments. <br /> 3.5.10 Slope Stabilization Design: CONSULTANT will provide design recommendations for <br /> slope stabilization systems along both the east and west slopes of the ravine. <br /> 3.5.11 Approach Pavement Design: CONSULTANT will provide pavement design <br /> recommendations for the two bridge approaches. <br /> 3.5.12 Specification Development: CONSULTANT will assist the design team in the <br /> development of geotechnical related specifications. CONSULTANT expects that this <br /> will include slope stabilization,retaining wall,and foundation specification assistance. <br /> 3.5.13 CONSULTANT QA/QC: CONSULTANT will have all design calculations and <br /> recommendations reviewed by a senior principal prior to distribution to the design team <br /> or the City of Everett. <br /> 3.6 Draft Geotechnical Report <br /> 3.6.1 Prepare Draft Geotechnical Engineering Report: CONSULTANT will prepare a draft <br /> geotechnical engineering report for the project. This report will contain the results of the <br /> geotechnical engineering investigation, including description of surface and subsurface <br /> conditions; a site plan showing exploration locations and other pertinent features; <br /> summary boring logs; and laboratory test results. The report will provide geotechnical <br /> recommendations for each of the proposed improvements. <br /> 3.7 Final Geotechnical Report <br /> 3.7.1 Prepare a Final Geotechnical Engineering Report: CONSULTANT will finalize our <br /> geotechnical report once we receive review comments from the design team and the City <br /> of Everett. <br /> 3.8 Geotechnical PS&E Coordination and Support <br /> 3.8.1 Miscellaneous Geotechnical Assistance: CONSULTANT will provide up to 40 hours of <br /> miscellaneous geotechnical assistance during the PS&E process. <br /> Assumptions: <br /> • The geotechnical explorations proposed herein will not be used to assess site <br /> environmental conditions.
