Analysis,testing, storage, and handling of potentially <br /> contaminated soil and ground water(either sampled or spoils from drilling)are beyond <br /> this scope of services. If contaminated soils and/or ground water are encountered,the <br /> material will be properly contained on-site for disposal as mutually agreed upon without <br /> additional cost to CONSULTANT. <br /> • All non-contaminated drilling spoils and related debris will be drummed on site and <br /> transported off site for disposal by the drilling subcontractor. <br /> • CONSULTANT assumes that they will attend 8 project coordination meetings other than <br /> the kick off meeting. <br /> • All Field explorations will be conducted between the hours of 9AM to 3PM. <br /> CONSULTANT assumes that establishment of traffic control will also abide by these <br /> hours. <br /> • No Phase 1 or Phase 2 Environmental Site Assessment will be completed by <br /> CONSULTANT. <br /> • All required rights of entry will be provided by the City of Everett or TranTech at no cost <br /> to CONSULTANT. <br /> • The borehole locations will be surveyed by others. <br /> • No stormwater infiltration testing will be conducted as part of this project. <br /> Relatively disturbed subsurface soil samples will be collected from the borings using <br /> the Standard Penetration Test(SPT)at intervals of 2.5 feet to 25 feet. Samples will be <br /> taken at 5-foot intervals below 25 feet. <br /> • The two wells installed as part of this investigation will be maintained throughout design <br /> and abandoned by the contractor during construction. <br /> • Groundwater monitoring will be completed over a period of 6 months. <br /> Deliverables: <br /> • Exploration Plan <br /> • Draft Geotechnical Report <br /> • Final Geotechnical Report <br /> • Geotechnical Addenda as necessary to Support PS&E Activities <br /> Page 13 of 42 <br />
