Typically, survey work shall reference the Washington State Plane Coordinate System of 1983 <br /> as established in accordance with Chapter 58.20 Revised Code of Washington. <br /> Vertical <br /> Typically, the Vertical Datum for the survey work shall reference the North American Vertical <br /> Datum of 1988 (NAVD88). <br /> Task 3.3 Field Surveying and Mapping <br /> This task includes the field surveying and mapping required for this specific effort. <br /> Topographic—approx. 670 linear feet along W. Mukilteo Blvd. The consultant shall locate and <br /> map visible features necessary for the creation of an engineering design base map as shown in <br /> Exhibit A. Typical features include: <br /> • Topographic and Planimetric, including channelization. <br /> • Edge of Pavement, gravel,grass, concrete, etc. <br /> • Curb and sidewalk, including curb cuts and ADA ramps. <br /> • Signs and signals. <br /> • Trees and edges of significant vegetation in the laydown area (see Exhibit A). <br /> • Walls, rockeries, and fences (or faces of). <br /> • Ground measurements will be captured sufficient to generate a digital terrain model <br /> (DTM) at one-foot contours. <br /> • Visible improvements situated within the described mapping limits. <br /> • Bridge abutment as-builts and soffit elevations. <br /> Task 3.4 Utility Surveying Services <br /> This task includes the mapping of utilities throughout the survey limits, including within the <br /> roadway. Underground 'Conductible' Utility Locates. The Consultant shall arrange for <br /> underground 'conductible' utility locating, by means of the Washington One Call ITIC program. <br /> This service shall locate utilities within the project corridor limits. The consultant will <br /> reasonably rely upon the accuracy,timeliness, and completeness of the information provided <br /> by the utility locating service. Franchise utilities are typically marked by the franchise. <br /> Underground utilities to be mapped include: power; natural gas; water; cable TV; telephone, <br /> and traffic. Fiber optic lines are typically marked in the field by the owner. <br /> 3.4.1. Surface Observable to include: power poles, vaults, risers, fire hydrants, water <br /> valves/meters, gas valves, traffic signal/traffic control boxes, and overhead utility lines. <br /> 3.4.2. Stormwater structures—The center of rims on catch basins and storm drain manholes <br /> will be collected. <br /> 3.4.3.
