In providing opinions of cost, and schedules for the PROJECT, the CONSULTANT will have no <br /> control over cost or price of labor and materials; unknown or latent conditions of existing <br /> equipment or structures that might affect operation or maintenance costs; competitive bidding <br /> procedures and market conditions; time or quality of performance by operating personnel or <br /> third parties; and other economic and operational factors that might materially affect the <br /> ultimate PROJECT cost or schedule.The CONSULTANT, therefore, will not warranty that the <br /> actual PROJECT costs, financial aspects, economic feasibility, or schedules will not vary from <br /> CONSULTANT's opinions, analyses, projections, or estimates. <br /> Assumptions: <br /> • Engineer's estimate will be prepared using the CONSULTANTS standard estimating <br /> spreadsheet. <br /> • All Seismic Retrofit 'items' will be prepared as lump sum items with a lump sum <br /> breakdown provided. <br /> Deliverables: <br /> • One (1) electronic copy of the engineer's estimate at the 60%, 90%, final review <br /> submittals and the bid submittal. <br /> • Independent bottom up cost estimate at 90%design. <br /> Task 8.1 60% Design Package Submittal <br /> This task includes all activities associated with advancing the approved seismic retrofit concepts <br /> to the 60% level and submitting the intermittent design package to the City for review <br /> purposes. The 60% design package submittal will include two copies of half-size plans, project <br /> manuals, cost estimates and construction schedule. Electronic copies of all files will be <br /> provided in PDF format. An electronic copy of the Project Specifications Manual will be <br /> provided in Word format. Hard-copy sheets will match the electronic files that are submitted. <br /> The cost estimate will be formatted to reflect the bid item breakdown. <br /> Deliverables: <br /> • Two (2) hardcopies of half size plans. <br /> • Two (2) hardcopies of the Project Specifications Manual. An electronic copy of the <br /> Project Specifications Manual in PDF format. An electronic copy of the Project <br /> Specifications Manual in Word format (no Appendix). <br /> • Two (2) hardcopies of the cost estimate and construction schedule.
