City of Everett Edgewater Creek Bridge Replacement <br /> briefings will be to further understand community interests, concerns and priorities related to the <br /> bridge replacement and how the community would like to stay informed and engaged during this <br /> and future phases of the project, including pre-construction and construction phases. The <br /> interviews, briefings and phone calls provide an opportunity for key stakeholders to share their <br /> unique perspectives on the project issues and potential solutions prior to broader community <br /> outreach. The interviews,briefings and phone calls also provide an opportunity for the City to <br /> get ahead of and/or proactively address stakeholder concerns and questions prior to outreach to <br /> the broader public and share how stakeholder input has been used to inform City decisions. <br /> Identified key stakeholders include: <br /> • School Districts:Everett and Mukilteo and local schools/PTAs <br /> • Neighborhoods: Everett and Mukilteo, including Boulevard Bluffs and Harborview- <br /> Seahurts-Glenhaven, <br /> • Chambers of Commerce: Everett and Mukilteo <br /> • Boeing <br /> • Paine Field/Propeller Airports <br /> • Community-based organizations that serve historically underrepresented populations <br /> and/or limited-English speaking populations <br /> • City of Everett Parks Department <br /> Additional key stakeholders that the City and/or technical team will coordinate with include: <br /> • City leadership and staff/subject matter experts <br /> • Area Tribes <br /> • Partner agencies, including Washington State Ferries, Everett Transit and Community <br /> Transit <br /> • Emergency service providers, including Everett and Mukilteo fire and police <br /> • Local utility providers (see Work Element 6) <br /> 10.3 In-person public event <br /> Consultant will support the City to host an in-person public event during Phase 2 to share <br /> information about the project and gather feedback on technical solutions. Consultant will <br /> develop a meeting plan, materials (i.e. comment form, sign-in sheets, handouts, and display <br /> boards) and agendas for each public meeting. Consultant will also set-up, staff, and facilitate all <br /> public meetings. Support will also include scheduling, leading meeting logistics, determining <br /> room layout,providing event equipment and supplies, and documenting input received. <br /> Consultant will also collaborate with the City to provide interpretation services and childcare, as <br /> requested,provide refreshments and host in-person events in venues accessible by transit, in <br /> order to increase participation of historically underrepresented populations identified in the <br /> project area. <br /> Page 27 of 42 <br />
